Your Role
The Corporate Planning Specialist is a member of the Corporate Planning Team that is responsible for management of corporate policies, business plans and strategies; analysis of internal and external factors affecting the business, and preparations of corporate reports. The Corporate Planning team collaborates with all divisions to achieve the organizations goals.
- Policy & Risk Management
- Review and handle corporate policies while developing new policies
- Identify potential risks to the organizations strategy and developing plans to mitigate risks
- Environmental Scanning
- Research and analyze trends, internal and external information related to the business to understand industry landscape and identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Governance
- Preparation and completion of all compliance requirements, monitoring and reporting
- Reports/Records Management/Logistics
- Consolidation and preparation of internal and external reports, progress and meeting minutes, etc.
- Prepare and support all logistic requirements for corporate meetings
About You
To apply for this role, you need to have the following eligibility criteria:
- You are a graduate of BS Economics, BS Applied Corporate Management or BS Business Economics
- Knowledge on Corporate governance is an advantage.
- Relevant background in regulatory and compliance is an asset.
- You are capable of clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
- You interact with others in a way that gives them confidence in one's intentions and those of the organization.
- You can actively identify new areas for learning; regularly create and take advantage of learning opportunities; use newly gained knowledge and skill on the job and learn through their application.
- You can make customers and their needs the primary focus of one's actions, developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
- You can assimilate and apply new job-related information in a timely manner.
- High-level critical thinking skill
- Highly organized, detail oriented & adaptable
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Must have business and finance know-how
- Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint
