Your role

  • Reviews printed copy of policy contracts / e Contracts; verifies details against underwriting decision if data were correctly encoded; calculates manually for any discrepancy on the decision of underwriter vs policy contracts details; checks the information of the policy; ensures that the premiums are correct and contract pages are complete.
  • Responds to New Business (TRAD/VUL products) related to walk-in client’s and agents' queries as appropriate; answers (phone/e-mails/SMS) in a timely, accurate and courteous manner; investigates complaints received from client/agent and suggest an alternative solution to Manager.
  • Handles adjustment of records in Ingenium of underwriting cases to reflect changes requested after Auto Appraisal
  • Processes refunds of overpayments bounced check, Not taken up(NTU), Not proceeded with (NPW); handles refund of initial premium and charge agent for NPW/NTU fees.
  • Risk Rating review of existing high-risk clients, as mandated by IC. Handles calculation of total premium, checking of Dow Jones, Local Watchlist, and internet search to check if with adverse news, responsible for the manual calculation of total risk based on the given criteria and handles changes/updates risk rating if needed.
