Application Process & Interviews at Stratpoint Global Outsourcing PH

In my case, the interviews only took a span of a week which is really quick.

My hiring process was smooth. Just had to go through 2 interviews with an HR and the hiring manager. Although the decision lead time they gave me was too short. Just a day or 2.

If I remember correctly, I've had three (3) interviews. The phone screening, the initial interview, and the final interview. For the phone screening, I hope I was given a text message first before the call so I can make time for the call itself rather than failing to answer the call due to it being sudden. For the initial interview, it was okay. Same with the final interview. With the time frame of the whole hiring process, I think it could've been shorter, so time and other resources were saved.

Very easy especially because I was able to solve the the assessment exam for data engineer in under 5 mins.

The interview was very streamlined and it didnt feel like any steps were just fillers

Initial interview via phone call then a timed design exam was sent via email immediately after. Then there was a technical interview and exam where I got to meet the design head. The last meeting was an interview to assess culture fit. The whole interview and assessment process took about a week, and the week after, I received a call from HR. They informed me about the next steps right away and updated me about my application status.

Quick interview process

The interview process was so intense, I was very nervous at that time. And as for the assessments, I think they did a good job to filtering out the candidates, as I waited for a week for the results.

Initial interview were more on techincal, The interviewer gave me a code problem to solve.

For the inital interview I was asked about my background in college, internship and trainings. The second interview was technical, asking me about cloud and AWS in general. The final interview was more on personal questions tackling my work ethics, how I view others and how they view me.

If I remember correctly, some questions were technical, concerning my recent activities and my internship experience. Some were lighthearted.

Technical questions about AWS, also questions in regards to how will I fit into a project.

Technical questions and they asked about questions if I was a good fit for the company

Basic personality questions and background checks. Basic Java and Object-oriented Programming questions for the technical interview with a programming problem to be solved.

As for the technical interview, the questions for that depends on the technology of the positions you're applying for. And for the culture fit interview, it's more on how would you handle different kind of situations inside the company.

My past experiences whether in intern or previous jobs, how wide my knowledge about the position they are giving me. They also asks me questions about something about my self, how I see my self 5 years from now, How do I handle miscommunication with my colleagues, and also my expected salary

I would recommend investing in training with certificates inclined to the job they are applying for. Investing in those trainings and certificates makes a difference for their CV's and Resume.

Always be prepared and just be yourself

Make sure to remember what they did and learn during their internship or on-the-job training.

I think you should be aware and knowledgeable about the position you are applying and try to understand and apply as much concepts as possible when you are interviewed

Know the company culture is, mission and visions. Must prepare for the interview questions that they will ask you which you can easily find in youtube like preparing for a job interview. For developer position - know System design, OOP and simple data structures like array and hashmap because they are included in the exam.

The best preparation you can do is to be open to learning and approach it with humility and respect.

Always do research on a company before an interview and communicate to the interviewer that you are interested in working in their company in a subtle way. Anticipate interview questions and practice them especially on the technical interview. Study fundamental concepts on the job position that you are applying for and keep in mind the expected responsibilities indicated on the job posting.

Become more familiar with design tools, follow design leaders, and learn more about UX design. Also, read more about the company before the series of interviews.

Answer all questions honestly in a polite manner. Be precise in your answers to avoid misleading information. For Outsystems developer candidates, explore the application prior to the interview. This will help you answer the technical questions since the technical interview is a demo of the application.

For the technical interview, you must review about the technology you're applying for, and if you don't know the answer be honest.

I would suggest them to atleast know the background of the company and research the job position before applying. Take a deep breath before the zoom meeting, You will be fine everyone is nice and cool in Stratpoint.
