The Role
As a Learning Associate, you will provide administrative support for the smooth implementation of various training programs geared toward organizational effectiveness and business efficiencies of the Bank. You will ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements and bank policies.
How you'll contribute
- Manages the concerns of participants and/or training providers by elevating and coordinating with appropriate units to ensure immediate resolution
- Assists the Academy Support Head in maintaining the BCP, RCSA, BIA & ORM of SBC Academy in coordination with the Risk Management Group to help manage and minimize the identified risks
- Assists the Academy Support Head in maintaining the training policies and procedures for efficient implementation of the training programs
- Manages the training databases to ensure on-time and accurate submission of management, regulatory, and "as requested" reports
- Assists Program Managers in conducting training needed analysis to determine the gap between the current and desired competencies.
- Prepares and monitors the required training contracts and other documentary requirements prior to actual training run
- Prepares quarterly training calendar to ensure availability of training participants, speakers, and venues
- Prepares the training materials and logistics as prescribed by the Program Manager before each program run
- Processes term sheets and external program forms within existing guidelines prior to program run
- Assists the Academy Support Head in reconciling Academy's monthly expenses against the approved budget to ensure expenditures are within authorized limits
- Implements and administers eLearning courses, in coordination with the Program Manager
- Processes requests for payment of training expenses within approved policies for timely and accurate settlement of fees to external service providers
- Consolidates and endorses to the Program Manager the post-program evaluation survey results
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources or related field
- Preferably with 1-year relevant experience
- Knowledge of the learning and development process; general understanding of the banking business
- Strong customer orientation; analytical and negotiation skills
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties; highly systematic, organized, and with keen attention to details
