Your role
The Corporate Audit Officer ensures compliance with established internal control policies and procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
What will YOU do?
- Execute the audit procedures for the procure-to-pay process based on the annual audit plan.
- Familiarize with the process under review to support audit observations and conclusions by conducting interviews and process walkthroughs.
- Prepare initial and final audit reports to be presented to stakeholders
- Conduct follow-ups with the departments on action items committed to closing out audit findings and ensure that risks are mitigated and addressed.
- Analyze audit evidence to assess risk levels and compliance with the set internal controls of the department.
- Communicate the purpose and reason for raising an audit issue when there are disagreements to meet halfway and ensure both party's needs and concerns are accounted for.
- Perform walkthroughs and presentation of audit results to communicate what was observed during the review that needs attention.
- Identify new risks as a result of the review to reflect additional matters not considered before by updating the Risk Register file.
About you
What will YOU need?
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, or any related Accountancy course.
- Open to fresh graduates.
- Experience in auditing is an advantage.
