We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Trade & Promo Merchandising team as a Trade & Promo Merchandising Assistant. The Trade & Promo Merchandising Assistant will provide support in the planning and execution of trade marketing and promotional activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving sales and enhancing brand visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of trade marketing and promotional strategies to support sales objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to ensure alignment of trade and promotional activities.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer and competitor trends to identify opportunities for trade and promotional initiatives.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials, such as point-of-sale displays, product samples, and promotional merchandise.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of promotional materials and merchandise.
- Support the management of trade marketing budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of trade and promotional activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Assist in coordinating trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events, including logistics, booth setup, and collateral preparation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in trade marketing, merchandising, or related roles is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of retail and consumer goods industries is desirable.
- Willingness to travel for trade shows and promotional events, if required.
