We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources team as a Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including managing employee records, filing, and data entry.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate and schedule onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
- Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and answering employee inquiries.
- Maintain and update employee information in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and policies and procedures.
- Support HR initiatives and projects, such as performance management, employee engagement, and training and development programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide information on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist with employee relations activities, including coordinating employee events, recognition programs, and performance reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in Human Resources.
- Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Professional and customer-service-oriented demeanor.
