Full Stack WordPress Developer Intern (IT / Computer Science / Computer Engineering) null

Your role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various WordPress projects, implement UI and UX design principles, and learn about popular plugins and themes, including Elementor.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development:

• Assist in the development of WordPress websites, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement custom functionalities and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development.

UI & UX Design:

• Create and improve user interfaces for websites to enhance the overall user experience.
• Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new projects.
• Ensure that designs are visually consistent with the branding and user-friendly.

Elementor Expertise:

• Utilize Elementor, a popular page builder plugin, to create visually engaging and dynamic web pages.
• Customize and style Elementor elements to match design requirements.
• Optimize Elementor templates and layouts for performance.

WordPress Plugin and Theme Tasks:

• Work with various WordPress plugins and themes, making customizations as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.
• Assist in selecting and integrating suitable themes and plugins based on project requirements.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, SEO specialists, and project managers, to deliver cohesive and successful projects.
• ​Participate in brainstorming sessions and offer input on design and functionality decisions.

About you

• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (I.T) or Equivalent.
• Enthusiasm for web development and design with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Familiarity with WordPress CMS and its ecosystem.
• Some knowledge of UI and UX design principles.
• Experience with Elementor or other page builder plugins is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing websites.
• Enrolled in Internship/Practicum in the Philippines
• The entire internship will be a fully remote work setup. Interns will be expected to have their own laptops/personal computers and internet connection.
