JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
The Tax Advisory Associate helps businesses with their tax-related issues, keeping them out of legal trouble. He counsels and oversees tax-related activities and acts as financial advisors to clients.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep confidential records and tax information for clients;
- Understand finance and accounting principles;
- Communicate and negotiate with local government;
- Evaluate and assess complicated tax issues;
- Research and analyze tax laws;
- Stay up-to-date on the changes with regulations and tax laws and devise strategies to solve any financial issue that may arise;
- Keep accurate records and develop plans to solve financial issues that affect clients;
- Handle evaluation, risk assessment and counselling on various complicated tax problems;
- Execute project-related tax research and analysis;
- Maintain the tax records and keep up with all filing deadlines related to taxes for the client.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Lawyer or CPA-lawyer;
- Detailed knowledge of tax laws and issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong sense of client services orientation;
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation tactics;
- Solid accounting skills.
