JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Learning & Development Associate aids in the development, research and implementation of training programs offered to staff members.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance and upkeep of training materials, records, files and equipment
- Monitor and prepare summaries of participants’ attendance to training
- Prepare evaluation summary reports of training programs for dissemination to the managing partner, division heads, and division training coordinators and facilitators
- Assist in the preparation of OD-related reports.
- Maintain and update various training documents and materials e.g., presentation slides, hand-outs, exercises, assessment materials
- Maintain and update database of employees’ training information.
- Prepare and maintain CPE-related documents and ensure timely submission to PICPA
- Keep an inventory of training-related equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment go through regular maintenance check-up and are in good working condition
- Monitor use and reservations of training equipment.
- Perform other related duties from time to time
Training Administration and Logistical Requirements
- Coordinate and confer with the division training coordinators for the final list of participants, assigned facilitators and program schedule
- Ensure logistical requirements are prepared and coordinated with the housekeeping personnel i.e. set-up of training room, equipment needed and reproduction of training materials/hand-outs to be used
- Coordinate with resource speakers for training program requirements
- Release training invites and reminders to participants and facilitators at least two weeks before the scheduled training
- Coordinate training logistical requirements with external training venue
- Prepare materials needed for the training program and conduct of the OD assessment and intervention
- Monitor use and reservation of the training center
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management or other related fields
- At least one year of experience assisting in business training, professional development, research and workshops
