Assess the organization’s infrastructure and data to identify vulnerabilities caused by weaknesses or flaws in software and hardware that could expose the infrastructure to a security breach.
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures, such as firewalls, password policies and intrusion-detection systems.
Make recommendations to improve security based on their assessments and knowledge of current and emerging threats.
Monitor, triage and investigate alerts in Security Monitoring tools such as SIEM and EDR.
Recognize and timely report possible security violations or incidents and deliver effective response and remediation.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the Firm’s security posture.
Respond to security incidents and assist Semi-Senior IT Security Officer in performing root-cause analysis and provide necessary remediation and mitigation.
Submit incident reports in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Programming, or a related field
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good team working skills to develop security solutions in collaboration with other information technology professionals.

Advanced communication, interpersonal, report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to self-prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel on short notice and for extended periods of time. Positive and energetic attitude
