Your role

Position Overview

This position is for the Data Tech & ESG Site Reliability Engineering Internship Program 2024. The program consists of 3-months' worth of Site Reliability Engineering Automation experience that Interns will be able to contribute to the Enterprise Quality and Operations Team for Data Tech and ESG.

Your key responsibilities:

• Create and roll out a dbdist (database distribution) tool in DMX systems. This tool will help eliminate direct user access to database 3rd party tools that are not regulated or governed by the SRE Team.
• Create a Proof of Concept for an AI-based solution for capturing, segregating, and distributing 3rd Party Vendor Emails to different buckets (next actions). This PoC will give you a starting point for an enterprise-grade solution for handling automatically all the 3rd party vendor emails (hundreds of different emails every day).
• Production Stability Improvement on Common Failures in Prom and Autosys Orchestrator. Your goal is to reduce the # of recurring job/batch failures in Production systems.

About you

Desired Qualifications:

• Needs to be smart, assertive, and passionate about working in Technology and Finance.
• BS Computer Engineering or Computer Science Students in their 3rd year and above.
• Must be willing to participate in an internship program with a duration of 3 months starting June 3, 2024.

Specific knowledge and skills:

• Good understanding of Computer and Cloud Systems.
• Good understanding and experience in the following programming languages: Shell Scripting, Perl, C++, Java, and Python.
