Security Consulting and Risk Officer (Rolling Intake)

Your Role:

Key responsibilities as follows: 

• Secure data, network, and applications in system development and implementations. 
• Perform threat modeling, business and technical process analysis, and application security reviews. 
• Coordinate penetration testing and vulnerability validation scans. 
• Collaborate with ITG teams, developers, and architects to enhance security. 
• Provide security consulting for on-premise and cloud projects. 
• Serve as a security technical point of contact for system development. 
• Ensure enforcement of security requirements in new applications and APIs. 
• Standardize security requirements for application systems and architecture. 
• Consult on technical designs to address security weaknesses. 
• Collaborate on security improvements and architecture reviews. 
• Conduct source code reviews and coordinate vulnerability remediation. 
• Maintain expert knowledge in information security and best practices. 
• Work with the Department Head on improving the bank’s security posture. 

About You:

Ideal candidates will have: 

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. 
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in application security. 
• Relevant certifications like CISA, CISM, SANS GIAC, CISSP, PCI-DSS. 
• Knowledge of network and application security risks. 
• Experience in system development and cloud architectures. 
• Familiarity with web protocols, networking concepts, and encryption. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft, Linux/Unix security architecture. 
• Skills in MS Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project.
