Your role & responsibilities

As a Technology Development Intern, you'll be fully engaged in the company's cutting-edge research and development ventures. You’ll collaborate closely with the seasoned tech wizards, you'll play a pivotal role in sculpting and turbocharging the suite of products and services.

To apply for this role, you are excellent at:

• Directing research on potential technology solutions and implementation in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and procurement efforts.
• Preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Assisting with the formulation and implementation of strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost‐effective information processing and communication technologies.
• Participating in general development activities, which may include coding, testing, and documentation tasks, under the guidance of senior developers.
• Collaborating with the team of technology developers to investigate reported concerns or opportunities by the end user.
• Collaborating with the technology team to design, develop, and test prototypes of new features, products, or solutions.
• Assisting with the translation of the organizational vision into IT systems and procedures.
• Contributing innovative and creative ideas and solutions to resolve complex problems and drive continuous improvement in the products and processes.

About you

Your success profile includes:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong academic background with coursework or experience in software development, computer programming, and technology innovation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as but not limited to .NET, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of JavaScript frameworks like React, Node.js, Vue.js, and AngularJS.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following database management systems: MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to conduct and direct research on IT issues and products.
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to details.
• Passion for technology and a desire to make a meaningful impact through innovation.
