Your role
In this role, the graduate STEM trainee will be accountable for successfully executing all tasks designated by the supervisor, exhibiting a commitment to punctuality, and upholding exemplary quality standards.
What you will do – Responsibilities
- Project Management and Delivery
- Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned during the program.
- Engaging in proactive mentorship under the guidance of senior staff, exhibiting curiosity through thoughtful inquiries, and contributing in multifaceted capacities whenever opportunities arise.
- Conducting research and embarking on-site visits to various facilities within sites.
- Actively participate in meetings facilitating collaborative insights and attending workshops and training initiatives, contributing to continuous growth and enriched skill development.
- Problem solver
- a. Proficiently analyzing data to extract meaningful insights and generate reports in alignment with specified guidelines.
b. Compiling comprehensive notes and effectively communicating findings to the Supervisor and relevant stakeholders.
c. Identifying key development areas for enhancing problem-solving and suggesting innovative directions for addressing challenges and issues encountered.
d. Monitors the effectiveness of solutions and interventions, substantiates recommendations for improvements, and actively drives the realization of recommended benefits.
About you
To apply, you must have the following qualifications & skills:
- University degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Must have an established record of success in academics and extracurricular leadership roles both inside and beyond the University. Participant of student internship programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail, are necessary to explain complex topics to audiences at various levels of organization in a way that is straightforward and concise.
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with challenges and managing them with a strong ability to analyze, and effectively solve problems to find unique solutions
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and intermediate to advanced at Power BI, AutoCAD
- Good project management, problem-solving skills, and structure when working on projects
- Willing to work on a one-year employment contract with the possibility of permanent hire.
