Job Description:

  • Provides family planning information and advices to patients and their families.             
  • Educates women on reproductive health and advocates prenatal care for expectant mothers.
  • Provide counseling and advice following events such as miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, neonatal abnormality and neonatal death.
  • Acts as senior midwife in the shift and leads the management of the ward team in providing patient care. 
  • Attends to normal deliveries and refers abnormal deliveries to physicians.                        
  • Conducts post-mortem care on deceased infants.
  • Advises necessary examination for the earliest possible diagnosis of pregnancies at risk.
  • Monitors the patient before birth, during labor and after giving birth.  
  • Organize and updates records for the preparation of required reports. 
  • Performs other related task as assigned by the immediate supervisor. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of Midwifery course
  • Four (4) hours of relevant training
  • One (1) year of relevant experience
  • RA 1080 (Midwife)

Salary:

  • PHP27,000/monthly
