As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will work closely with experienced designers, developers, and product managers, gaining hands-on experience and valuable insights into the design process.
Job Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and development of user interfaces for both web and mobile applications in a fast-paced startup environment.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts and user experiences.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather actionable insights.
Rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and fellow designers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
Help establish and refine design guidelines, best practices, and standards as the scale.
Actively participate in design critiques, offering and receiving constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
Apply new knowledge to projects to ensure the products remain cutting-edge and user-centric.
About you
To apply, you must have the following requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (preferably in the final year of study).
A portfolio showcasing at least one UI/UX design project that highlights your ability to think creatively and solve problems in a startup context.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development is a plus, but not required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate and iterate quickly.
A passion for user-centered design and a keen eye for detail.
Able to work part-time or full-time.
System Requirements
At least 15mbps for main internet and at least 10mbps for backup.
A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup.
Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption
A webcam.
Noise-canceling USB Headset.
