Research Assistant (Consultant) null

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual interested in urban planning and climate action to contribute to realizing Urban Act’s output areas: 

• Improved institutional environment for climate-sensitive urban development 
• Evidence- based and inclusive climate-sensitive spatial and urban planning 
• Project concepts for urban climate action investments identified 
• Enhanced knowledge through regional networking, exchange, and learning 

Under the direct supervision of the Urban Planning Specialist and in coordination with the Clean Air Asia Urban Act Team, the duties of the Research Assistant will include:  

1. Data research, organization, analysis, and synthesis 

Provide support in researching, reviewing, compiling, and analyzing relevant national and international policies, frameworks, guidelines, and programs related to urban planning, transport planning, and climate action.

2. Stakeholder engagement 

Participate in discussions, meetings, webinars, workshops, and other related events and activities with project stakeholders including national and regional partners, as well as stakeholders from the pilot cities. 

3. Documentation and report writing 

Responsible for the documentation of meeting proceedings and other project-related activities, as well as other pre- and post- activity engagements such as drafting, completion, and finalization of workshop and analysis reports. 

The Research Assistant shall support the Clean Air Asia Urban Act team in drafting, completing, and finalizing related project narrative, progress, and technical reports.
