Architecting / delivering the assigned product line within the designated Digital Platform focused on ERP technology i.e. SAP, JDE, and others.
Breaking down value stream requirements into reusable components that are delivered through right-sized API services.
Conducting vendor evaluations using Modern Architecture & Software Engineering criteria (i.e., not just against Feature requirements) and platform fit.
Understanding Digital Platform scope in the context of the bigger CDAS picture. Involves knowing when to build within the assigned Digital Platform, when to use other Digital Platform Services / Products, when to build âfor another Digital platform, and then handing it overâ
Provide lessons learned back to Chief Digital Engineer to evolve CDAS (e.g., Guardrails â Development Guides, Engineering Standards, and Playbooks).
Managing multiple projects / small teams.
Advocate solid software development practices in the team covering testing, modularity, scalability, observability, and integrate.
Seen as a technical lead, coaches software engineers, and builds engineering discipline â code reviews, etc. - across all product lines within the platform.
Engages in hands-on coding to help the team develop common services that can be used across multiple products.
Oversees the modernization and migration of applications to the cloud. Coaches and guides the teams on continuous integration and automated deployment for products.
Maintain and communicate external IT dependencies while ensuring that external stakeholders are delivering against commitments.
