I love how there's no strict number of hours you have to be in the office especially for people who have to commute to and from the office. People can go to the office on the time it is convenient like people can go a bit later than what is traditional to avoid the rush hour. People are also allowed to leave earlier to attend to other matters or just so they can travel earlier which is really beneficial for people living far from the office.

We work in a hybrid setup with flexible working hours. We have a fortnightly catch-up session with grads and a monthly GDC Town Hall in a face-to-face meeting, but we are free to choose to go to the office or attend online according to what suits our individual situation. So far, I stick to my 8-5 schedule, but any concern or adjustment can be discussed with my line manager.

I'm working 8 hours a day, which is just normal. Also, I'm not yet required to take overtimes.

While the company promotes (and enacts) flexible working hours, I've mostly been working the standard 8-5 schedule as force of habit.

There are no certain work hours as long as you complete the 8 hours.

Although we are encouraged to come to the office regularly (once per quarter, I think?), this “suggestion” is not strictly enforced. Work hours are very flexible. Just get your work done, basically.

Our working hours is not strictly monitored. We really have a FLEXIBLE working hours in a sense that we get to manage our own schedules and focus on achieving what we need to achieve whether it be some project deliverables or meetings, trainings, etc. This arrangement truly provides us with the freedom to work in ways that suit us best.

The company doesn't really have a time in and time out, and it's one of the things I love about working here, you can start work anytime within the day as long as you communicate your schedule effectively with your co-workers. To add, overtime is also discouraged to promote work life balance which is a huge plus for me as well.

I haven't encountered any issues regarding working hours at Aurecon. The company is quite flexible as long as you fulfill the standard 8-hour workday. This flexibility means that Aurecon is not stringent about the exact time you clock in or out, allowing employees to manage their schedules in a way that best suits their personal and professional needs.
This approach to working hours is particularly beneficial as it acknowledges that productivity isn’t necessarily tied to a strict timetable. By giving employees the freedom to choose their start and end times, Aurecon fosters a sense of trust and responsibility. It also contributes to a better work-life balance, which is essential for overall job satisfaction and well-being.
Such flexibility is a testament to the company's understanding of modern work dynamics and its commitment to creating a supportive and adaptable workplace culture. It allows employees to accommodate personal commitments and preferences, which in turn enhances motivation and productivity. Overall, this flexible approach to working hours is one of the many factors that make Aurecon an appealing and progressive place to work.
