Job Satisfaction at Aurecon PH

I'm a graduate engineer so it is expected that my project involvement will be limited for the first few months and most of my time will used on skill development and that's exactly how it is for me now. I like how my seniors allow me to be included on the project they are currently working on and guide me throughout. The only difficulty is that due to limited project involvement, I'm mostly left with nothing to do but to self-study what I want which I'm also unsure of because of the uncertainty of what project I might work on in the future.

I get just about the right amount of workload in project deliverables, and when I am free, I have a wide range of learning courses I can dig into to upskill.

Currently, I'm still under training and do help in minor tasks related to projects from time to time.

I've been tasked to provide input in various projects already which involves my expertise in structural engineering. During days without a project at hand, I study materials such as online lessons (through Linkedin Learning) or standards used in analysis.

As a graduate engineer, I mostly work on training/upskilling and assisting my Team Leader.

I provide civil engineering support to projects. I am able to both apply what I learned from my degree AND learn new things as I go along projects.

As a graduate engineer, I usually fill my days with technical skill trainings. We have a very comprehensive collection of technical skill trainings at our Aurecon University site. When my lead has some small project-related tasks for me, I happily take it because I know that it is a great opportunity for me to learn the ropes in project delivery. I enjoy the freedom that they give me to learn anything I want to learn. Our team is very supportive as well when we have questions related to the work that the team delivers.

As a graduate engineer, I am mostly focused on learning the essentials of the discipline I'm involved with, this is done through training modules, and some shadowing opportunities with more experienced professionals. My day-to-day responsibilities include assisting my colleague with their work while also watching technical videos for upskill on the side.

As a graduate engineer, my responsibilities include studying the foundational information for road design and mastering the relevant software by the end of the program. Additionally, I am part of Limelight Manila, a group dedicated to organizing events, talks, and seminars aimed at enhancing employees' soft skills, such as leadership, communication, and client engagement.
