Your responsibilities

• Verify reported failures (electrical and/or visual) through failure analysis processes such as non-destructive analysis (optical inspection, X-ray inspection, acoustic microscopy).
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and requestors regarding the status of ongoing analysis projects.
• Perform laboratory roles and responsibilities assigned by management.
• Collaborate with technical experts from cross-functional engineering teams.
•  Attend relevant training, seminars, and symposiums (local and international) for individual development.
• Correlate the failure mechanism (i.e. physical defect) to the reported failure mode (i.e. electrical behavior).

About you

• BS in Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering (major in Electronics or Microelectronics).
• Strong technical understanding of how passive components, diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers work.
• Ability to use basic electronic test and measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and function generators.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to comprehend circuit schematics (wafer or board level).
• Background in semiconductor wafer fabrication, assembly, testing, and design is a plus.
• Knowledge of analog/digital circuitry and mixed signals is a plus.
• Chemistry lab experience is a plus.
